Tom Dale makes familiar things strange. For him, making work that forces an interpretation as well as a consciousness of that process is one of the principal motivations of his practice.
Curator Tom Morton writes: “Dale’s art, is an art of excess carried out with formal restrain.”
Dale works with both sculpture and film and is never happier than when these two mediums conspire to both complement and undermine one another.
